ASAP is the leading IFR procedure design company in the world and has designed over 350 IFR procedures world wide. While ANI is one of the primary training institutions in IFR procedure design and provides such training all over the World. This combination of training and practical expertise will result in a course that will give the attendees a unique possibility to assimilate this complex subject.
Our last basic Pans-Ops courses were a total success (click here for info 2007 , 2008 ,2009) and all involved benefited greatly.
Details of the next 2009 ASAP / ANI basic Pans-Ops course are given below.
Be advised that all places (14) on the last course were taken within the first month after notification and we had to turn people away. So get in early for this one. You can at the moment provisionally reserve a place on the course for 2009 without cost or obligation. As confirmed places on the course fill up you will be notified and at this stage a confirmed booking with a deposit should be made. If not your reservation for the course will be released to others.
The course to be held in 2009 will be divided up into 2 stages of three weeks each. Stage 1 (25th May - 12 June) will deal with basic topics covering conventional non-precision approaches, departures, holding and enroute criteria. This stage will form a sound foundation for the more complex stage 2.
The second part of the course (July 13th – July 31st) will deal with advanced issues such as ILS, RNAV and GNSS. This part of the course can also be attended as a refresher course for procedure designers that have already completed a basic procedure design course.
The advantages of a two stage course.
· Allows sufficient time to assimilate the extensive amount of information that will be delivered in stage 1
· Gives the attendees enough time to practice what they have learnt.
· Importantly, enables the course attendees to catch up on mounting work back in the office.
· During the time between courses procedure design questions will arise which will be answered in the second part of the course.
