Standard operating practices (SOP)

To ensure that the new procedures can be flown safely and that both pilots and ATS providers understand fully the flight profile (departure or arrival), individual SOPs should be developed. The SOPs are written so that the instructions are unambiguous. The SOP shall be assessed as part of the safety case assessment and should be integrated into the current ATC (Manual of Air Traffic Services) and aircraft operating procedures for each specific airport.

Specialized consultants available to work for ASAP s.r.o have previously held management positions in the UK CAA where the development of safety cases and SOPs for the introduction of new procedures was an integral part of the safety management system employed in the Authority. ASAP s.r.o. possesses the necessary training, knowledge and experience to develop safety cases and SOPs in accordance with internationally accepted standards.
