ASAP is working with the United Kingdom aviation consultancy firm Cyrrus and the French firm Egis Avia. ASAP is optimising the SIDs and STARs around the Channel Islands of Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney, which lie between France and England.
This is a complex portion of European airspace and ASAP is excited to be part of this ambitious modernisation project. ASAP has designed PBN SIDs and STARs and these procedures go a long way to relieving the congestion that previously occurred in this portion of airspace.
As a further part of this project ASAP has carried out a full safety review of all the instrument flight procedures at Jersey and Guernsey and designed LNAV approaches. Also ASAP has designed and charted Baro VNAV approaches at Guernsey and Jersey.
