Submission:
VSS provision was introduced in PANS-OPS to protect the visual segment during straight-in approaches. However, the criteria does not cover those approaches where no FAF is available and slope is thus not published. The final approach descent is managed using rate of descent criteria. Is some one has any solution to protect time based straight-in approaches for VSS.Arif Mumtaz - Procedure Designer - Pakistan CAA

I.W.I would use the nominal descent angle (i.e. 3 degrees)
