Could you suggest a way to design “geographical separation sectors” for our air traffic controllers? In Fiji, the aerodrome concerned, is served by intersecting runways ie: simultaneous operations.Ilimeleki Navula, PANS-OPS Officer, Fiji
Answer or Commentary:
(I.W.Pans-Ops does not deal with “geographical separation sectors” so I think you will have to use “best practice”. I think you may have to think of these sectors as VFR sectors and the visual circling areas could give you an idea as to the size of the areas involved.)
