Turn ASAP 4

Submission:

I do not think you need another fix to cater for the latest turn. The requirement for a turn "as soon as practicable" means that the turn commences at the SOC. The latest turn point is then defined by applying 6s pilot reaction + bank establishing time to the SOC. In case your selected fix for the earliest turn is coincident with the SOC, you may need to apply 6s to the fix tolerance area to get the latest turn point. Your missed approach text could then look like:

"Turn as soon as practicable, but not before 1DME XYZ, to heading 045. Climb to ....
