If Mr Coetzee would like a neat unambiguous method of renaming his SIDs and STARs, then I suggest he obtains new 5-letter ICAO designators and renames the procedures after them. If he writes an AIC beforehand to explain what they are doing, selects a date for implementation then the "new" charts will become the "current procedure" and if anyone is trying to use the old ELAND procedures then they have clearly go out of date information. There is one downside to this though. That is if any of the procedures terminate at an en-route beacon (VOR/DME) then it gets difficult trying to re-name it. Hope this simple solution helps.
