Submission:
1. As long as your airline is not a JAR-OPS operator there is no need for you to check the "JAA MINIMUMS" page. These pages are created for JAR-OPS operators who have to use JAR-OPS minima outside the JAA. The bold R/V values are used for "Full" conditions.2. There are State minima published for LWSK. (RVR 750m/VIS 1000m for FULL and RVR/VIS 1400m for ALS out condition. (AIP SUP 04/04)
3. Both minima concepts which are used on Jepp charts must not be below the state values. The ECOMS (outside JAA) minima for LWSK example are RVR 720m/VIS 800m for FULL and RVR/VIS 1200m for ALS out conditions. State values are higher and therefore published on chart. JAR-OPS values are RVR 800m for FULL and RVR 1200m for ALS out conditions. Because of the higher value of RVR 800m (instead of State RVR 750m) for FULL conditions this JAR-OPS value is charted on JAA MINIMUMS page.
4. If there is only RVR reported you have to compare only the reported RVR against the RVR in the minima box on chart. 5. If a VIS is reported you have to compare only the VIS values. There is no need to compare both VIS and RVR. Hope this information is helpful Mario - Germany
