I recently attended a briefing at Ansett Australia at which this problem was presented in detail by Bob Henderson (First Officer, B737) of Air New Zealand. The details of the events are too lengthy to discuss here. Suffice it to say that the crew received apparent on-glide slope information when non was actually available. I suggest that Lee Taylor contact Bob Henderson at Air New Zealand, Auckland. Unfortunately, I don't have his email address.
