The CRM can give a higher risk with a higher OCA. This is related to the risk of lateral displacement which can increase with higher OCA. The CRM assumes no course guidance past initiation of the missed approach. So the cause is usually a high obstacle in the missed approach area, laterally displaced from the runway centreline. The Solution is to increase OCA even more or restrict the approach by requiring lateral course guidance. This info can also be found in the CRM manual, part I, Ch. 4.2
